RRT - ECMO SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled RRT - ECMO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in respiratory care, specifically in ECMO management.Shift RequirementsShift: 3x12 Nights (18:30 - 07:00) with occasional day shift coverage as neededWeekend Requirement: Will work every other weekendGuaranteed Hours: Subject to cancellation policy where up to 3 shifts may be canceled without penaltyPosition RequirementsMinimum of 2 years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and 1 year as an ECMO Specialist requiredFirst-timers accepted with a minimum of 1 year of ECMO specialist experienceLocal applicants not accepted; must live more than 100 miles from the facility to applyPending Licenses accepted, but must be active at the startRequest time off (RTO) ideally should not exceed 5 daysCertifications RequiredACLSBLSPALSRRTState LicenseClinical Experience RequiredAdult Critical Care ExperienceAirway Management: including endotracheal tube placement, extubation, intubation assist, nasal and oropharyngeal airway management, and tracheostomy careCare of patients with ARDS, Aspiration, Bronchoscopy, COVID-19, ECMO, fresh tracheostomy, and PneumoniaMedication Administration: including albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide, and moreVentilator Management: experience with BiPAP, CPAP, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarmsArterial puncture experience requiredWork Setting and ChartingType of Facility: Short Term Acute CareMagnet Status: Magnet / Teaching / Level III TraumaTotal Staffed Beds: 672Charting Software: Excellian/EpicParking InformationParking is available at a flat rate per hour, applicable to all shifts.Additional RequirementsMust be open to floating as needed within the scope of practice to meet facility requirements.
