Join Our Team as a Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician

Our organization is looking for a board-certified or board-eligible pulmonary and critical care physician to become a part of our dedicated team. This role primarily focuses on outpatient care, emphasizing pulmonary and sleep medicine, while also offering limited opportunities for inpatient consultative services and ICU coverage. • Outpatient Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine:
  • Diagnose and manage various pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary nodules.
  • Evaluate and treat sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia.
  • Interpret pulmonary function tests.
  • Collaborate with referring providers and respiratory therapists to enhance patient care.
• Inpatient Consultative Services:
  • Provide pulmonary consultations for hospitalized patients as needed.
  • Work closely with the hospital's medical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• ICU Coverage:
  • Occasionally participate in ICU rounding or consults, providing critical care expertise.
  • Collaborate with ICU nurses and physicians to manage critically ill patients as required.
• Team Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Partner with advanced practice providers (APPs), nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Engage in departmental initiatives, quality improvement projects, and hospital committees.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
  • Adhere to hospital guidelines for billing, coding, and regulatory standards.

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.
• Additional certification or interest in sleep medicine is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a community hospital environment.
