Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting with surgical procedures by meticulously preparing and organizing the operating room
- Maintaining sterile fields and following strict infection control guidelines
- Providing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants with finesse
- Preparing and managing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring operational readiness for each surgery
- Collaborating with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff for seamless continuity of care
- Keeping accurate surgical counts and comprehensive documentation throughout
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required
- BLS certification (or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hiring)
- In-depth knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures across various specialties
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure environments
- Ability to quickly prioritize and address the needs of the surgical team
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to cleanliness and detail
- Proficient in aseptic technique and maintenance of sterile fields
