Supply Planner I

Overview The Supply Planner I will create, manage and maintain purchase orders and inventory across all Readerlink distribution centers. Responsibilities Create, maintain, and track purchase orders across all publishers and ReaderLink Distribution Centers to ensure on-time and accurate delivery. Review and resolve quarantine inventory. Enter and maintain items into F&O. Communicate all product discrepancies between Supply Planning, Sales, and Marketing teams. Build and maintain long-term relationships with our publishers and licensors. Handle multiple tasks and work extra hours to keep projects on schedule. Perform other duties as assigned, directed, or requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or related business subject required. Previous buying or inventory experience is preferred. Experience with working with the F&O system is preferred. Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required. High energy level with the ability to keep multiple projects on schedule. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners. Proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. A methodical and organized approach to problem-solving. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. The work is performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Employee is occasionally exposed to vibration and dust.
