Equipment Engineer

Equipment Engineer (Korean Bilingual Required)\n\nTimpl has partnered up with a global EV battery manufacturing company and is\nlooking for an Equipment Engineer.\n\n\nSummary:\nAn Equipment Engineer II supports the breakdown of equipment, improve equipment\nfor program and design to increase overall efficiency and productivity. Also\nproviding education for controls with plant to distribute company base knowledge\nfor company specific equipment. \n\nResponsibilities:\n- Install new equipment\n- Analyze OEE for frequency of breakdown and up time for daily production.\nReport on OEE (Micro stop, BM, and yield)\n- Complete production work order for technology based and create design\n(example. PLC program based and redesign of line) and monitor equipment running\npost improvement \n- Installation of new technology to line (example. Installation of lasers)\n- Train other engineers with shared responsibilities (including in their\npercentage of each responsibilities)\n- Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position\n- Follow established work instructions \n- Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE \n- Adhere to general, and position-specific, dress code requirements\n- Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements\n- Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required \n- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:\n * Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain\n * Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container\n- Perform other duties as assigned\n\nQualifications: \n- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant\nexperience\n\nExperience:\n- 3-6+ years of related experience \n- Install, modify, analyze, repair and test tools, machines and other equipment\n- Analyze equipment breakdown data\n- Corrective actions\n\nSkills:\n- Equipment designing programs (2D/3D)\n- MS Office Suite\n- Work cross functionally\n- Internal/External Customer Interaction\n- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support entire production team\n- Proficiency in written and verbal Korean preferred\n\nPhysical Requirements: \n- Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period\nof up to 12 hours\n - Safety glasses\n - Steel-toed shoes\n\n- Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours\n - Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds\n - Stoop, twist, bend \n - Reach overhead\n - Sit and/or stand\n
