Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and reliable caregivers to join our team. If you enjoy helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes, we’d love to hear from you!Serving the Northwest Suburbs: Des Plaines, Elk Grove, Park Ridge, Palatine, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates.
Responsibilities may include:
- Personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and emotional support
- Mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation
- Transportation to appointments or errands, when applicable
- Following individual care plans and client routines
- Monitoring and reporting changes in a client’s condition to the office team
- Providing respectful, dependable care while maintaining client dignity and independence
Requirements
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred (Personal caregiving experience may be considered)
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and patient
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to follow care plans and client-specific instructions
