Director of Project Management

The Director of Project Management & Strategic Initiatives will lead the Project Management Office (PMO) within EWS Operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a high-impact portfolio of organizational projects, ensuring operational excellence, and translating strategic vision into actionable execution plans. Office location requirement: The role requires being in the office 3 days/week on Tues - Thurs. Immigration sponsorship: The position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support. What you’ll do: Build and instill project / program rigor for the team including a standardized intake and prioritization model, presentation templates, reporting and PM tools. People Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of PM leaders (Managers/Senior PMs); drive workload distribution based on team capacity and business prioritization. Plan and manage projects, including defining scope, objectives, and deliverables. Distribute workload based on employee bandwidth, capability, and business prioritization. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Collaborate with various teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and create implementation plans to increase efficiency and guarantee quality delivery. Prepare detailed executive reports on project status, performance, and key metrics. Analyze data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to leadership. What experience you need: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA or Master’s preferred. 7+ years of project management experience, with several years in a leadership role (e.g., Director or Senior PMO role). Experience creating and managing detailed project plans. Experience in developing and presenting reports to executive leadership. Things that would set you apart: Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) is strongly preferred; PgMP or PfMP is a plus. Proven experience leading Agile transformations.
