Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts (0700-1930), weekend rotation (every third) and holiday rotation as required. 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Two weekend shifts per six-week period.

• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Care for high-acuity post-operative patients with diverse surgical needs including ostomies, wound VACs, PCAs, epidurals, and feeding tubes
• Strong emphasis on professional development, continuing education, and maintenance of high care standards
• 20 hours of orientation provided; two pre-approved time-off periods available

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency examination prior to start (strict passing criteria apply)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital, LTAC, or Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Required clinical skills include: telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation, IV therapy and management, central line and PICC care, blood product administration, wound care/wound VAC, ostomy care, PCA/epidural management, and heparin/insulin protocols
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
