The Senior Business Analyst will bring technical expertise and design knowledge to every project to ensure exceptional quality, business value, and delivery. Youll spearhead requirements gathering and definition, leveraging your experience and certifications in a requirements framework to uphold high-quality processes in user stories, acceptance criteria, and test case production./ppGeneral Responsibilities:/pulliExpected to contribute to the success of the department by providing leadership and guidance./liliSuccessfully solves difficult problems, recognized as a leader in more than one area./liliRecognized as a subject matter expert in areas specific to their discipline/team./liliAble to identify and address previously acknowledged problems, offering innovative solutions and influencing organizational strategy./liliDesigns and leads implementation of product, process, automation and/or streamlines work using industry best practices or incremental ideas, resulting in systemic improvements and/or increased engagement./liliDesigns new business processes that have a positive impact on customers and drives organizational growth./liliMentors junior and mid-level team members, actively participates in the hiring process, advocates for business improvements, and contributes to the performance management process, providing valuable insights./li/ulpResponsibilities:/pulliLead product requirements gathering, documentation, and validating processes throughout the project lifecycle./liliLead discussions with clients, stakeholders, users, and internal team members to analyze, discuss, and document functionality./liliCollaborate cross-departmentally to refine and validate requirements and functionality, capturing assumptions and creating alignment of purpose./liliLead the creation of Business Requirements Specifications, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria./liliSupport QA with test case development./liliAssist in the testing process to refine requirements./liliOwn and successfully conduct the process of measuring, reporting and meeting requirements./liliRecommend changes to the product roadmap based on requirements evolution./li/ulpSkills Experience:/pulliBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field./liliRelevant business analyst credentials and certifications, such as CBAP, PMP, and Agile./lili5+ years experience as a Business Analyst./liliProficiency in requirements management methodologies for digital product development, such as BABOK./liliExperience in creating and maintaining requirements, user acceptance testing strategies, and maintenance documentation./liliExperience using digital development tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence, Figma)./liliExperience with Web Products built on a variety of platforms./liliAbility to lead client, stakeholder, and user-facing discussions./liliAbility to define and document Business Analyst process definition, including best practices and continuous improvement of responsibilities./liliExperience meeting critical deadlines, adapting quickly to shifting priorities, and managing multiple projects simultaneously./liliExcellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and succinctly to internal and external stakeholders./liliExperience working with federal, state, or local government agencies to analyze legacy systems, modernize service delivery, or improve citizen-facing platforms./liliDemonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, including inter-agency coordination, regulatory compliance, and public sector governance models./liliSkilled in translating policy, legislative, or operational mandates into actionable system requirements and digital workflows./liliFamiliarity with documenting business processes and functional specifications for government digital services, including case management, licensing, or application processing systems./li/ulpInsomniac Design offers a competitive salary and benefits package including health and life insurance as well as 401k contribution.
