Job Description Lycée International de Houston is seeking a passionate and qualified Mathematics Teacher for Middle and High School levels, specializing in IB (International Baccalaureate) and/or AP (Advanced Placement) courses for the 2026-2027School Year . The ideal candidate will haveexpertisein English instruction aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) curriculum, as well as the ability to prepare students for the rigor of IB and AP exams.At Lycée International de Houston, we prioritize excellence, rigor, and kindness. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree (preferred) orBachelor’s degree inMathematics, or a related field Minimum three years of middle or high school English teaching experience Experience teaching IBMathematics(SL/HL) and/or APMath(Calculus, AB/BC, Statistics) Strong knowledge of TEKS ELAR standards ESL certification or experience working with EAL students (preferred) Experience in an independent, private, or college-preparatory school setting Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Familiarity with integrating technology into the classroom, including graphing calculators, online platforms, and educational software. Design and implement engaging, inquiry-based lessons that promote creativity and collaboration Stay informed about the latest developments in mathematics education, including IB and AP program updates, and pursue professional development opportunities.
