Details Acute care hospital with 119 staffed beds Operating Room unit 4x10hr day shift, 6:45am-5:15pm Weekend rotation required, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage On-call required on weekdays from 3pm-7am per rotation, subject to change based on staffing needs Float within scope to like units or sister facilities as needed Epic charting system used Surgical scrubs provided Requirements Active SC RN license or compact license in hand prior to start Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required 4 years of OR nursing experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Experience across gynecology, general surgery, orthopedic, neurology, trauma, podiatry, ophthalmology, and urology procedures Experience with Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System and Hana Table Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties May be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season, which runs June through November with peak activity in August and September First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis Must reside within a 60-mile radius, with non-local candidates given priority Previous permanent or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Block schedule requests may be considered but are not guaranteed Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 2 weeks based on staffing needs American Traveler Job ID P-749209.
