Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
Provide specialized speech therapy services to neuro, trauma, and post-intubation patients in an inpatient setting, with potential outpatient duties. Assess and treat diverse patient populations to improve communication and swallowing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' speech, language, and cognitive abilities through comprehensive assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and monitor progress.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and healthcare standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Nebraska.
• Possess current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Demonstrate experience in neuro, trauma, or related inpatient care.
• Exhibit strong assessment and therapeutic skills with a diverse patient population.
• Maintain excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
