Provide specialized speech therapy services to neuro, trauma, and post-intubation patients in an inpatient setting, with potential outpatient duties. Assess and treat diverse patient populations to improve communication and swallowing functions. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' speech, language, and cognitive abilities through comprehensive assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer therapeutic interventions to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and monitor progress.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and healthcare standards.
- Hold a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Nebraska.
- Possess current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Demonstrate experience in neuro, trauma, or related inpatient care.
- Exhibit strong assessment and therapeutic skills with a diverse patient population.
- Maintain excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
