Pay Range: $31.41 - $38.42 per hour

Job Overview

Working alongside the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will be an integral part of the team, responsible for organizing and delivering tailored, age-appropriate care to patients. This role involves maintaining a safe environment that promotes positive patient outcomes and ensuring that patients' physiological responses during surgery are monitored and managed effectively within the surgical suite and throughout the perioperative division.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Surgical Technician training program
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in scrubbing for various service lines, including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make calls, demonstrate flexibility, multitask, and work independently
Certifications and Licenses
  • Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) is mandatory
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association is required
Scheduling Requirements
  • 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Every other weekend and holiday
  • Full-time position
