Endocrinologist

Position Overview Prime Healthcare and Central Maine Medical Center are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join a growing program in Lewiston, Maine. This opportunity allows practitioners to work in a collaborative, physician-focused environment while serving a broad regional patient population across central Maine. Responsibilities Diagnose and manage common endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, and metabolic conditions Provide outpatient clinic care Develop and implement treatment plans focused on long-term disease management Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists Educate patients on lifestyle modification, medication management, and disease prevention Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Qualifications MD or DO degree, with completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Employment Status Full Time Shift Days EEO Statement Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
