Customer Care Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a Customer Care Specialist for a Contract job with a client in Coatesville, PA . The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and customer service experience, with the ability to manage order processing and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Rate Range: $19/hour to $20/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Customer Care Specialist job responsibilities include:

• Process customer orders and transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external customers via phone, email, and occasional in-person interaction.
• Coordinate with labs, logistics, and vendors to support repairs, calibration activities, and service requests.
• Provide status updates, scheduling support, and expedite services as needed.
• Prepare correspondence and maintain documentation to support customer and operational activities.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or related roles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work within established processes and guidelines.
• Experience with planning, scheduling, and vendor coordination is a plus.
• Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn (coachability).
• Preferred backgrounds: Life Sciences, Biotech, Pharma, Military, or Defense (not required; training available).

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
