Operations Leadership Trainee

Summary: This is a leadership development position for college graduates. The Operations Leadership Trainee will be given the opportunity to participate in a variety of focused developmental activities, assignments, and rotations over 24 months to prepare for a professional role at HOLT. During this period, the incumbent will develop understanding and skills to lead and influence within the Values Based Leadership (VBL) culture using Holt's leadership language, tools, models, and processes. This includes demonstrating versatility in learning, modeling, teaching, and measuring the impact of their interactions over time. The Leadership Associate will build interdependent and highly functional relationships with individuals and teams throughout the operations division that will enable success in a longer-term position identified upon completion of the 24-month rotation. In the event the Leadership Trainee fails to perform, or no position is available after completion of the program, he or she will be separated from the company. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Travel: Limited travel required to visit stores throughout territory, primarily day trips Physical Requirements: General office and shop requirements with some lifting up to 50 lbs.
