divh2Senior Analyst, Global Credit Finance - Direct Lending/h2pResponsible for assisting in all aspects of the fund management of cross asset credit offerings on the Carlyle Direct Lending platform (CDL), which operates within the broader Carlyle Global Credit segment. This position, where applicable, will involve a broad range of responsibilities, summarized below:/pulliReview of fund accounting records, financial statements, partners capital account statements, and capital calls/distribution allocation files and letters. Such records/data will be prepared by the Third Party Administrator (TPA)/liliCoordination with auditors and ability to understand/explain financial concepts and team processes/liliData analysis that is needed for Carlyles corporate accounting team (including Economic Net Income models, budget, AUM, etc.)/liliWorking with deal team, legal/tax counsel, and credit operations team to plan and execute deal closings. Assisting team in coordination with legal and tax to set up deal structures/liliDuring fundraising, the individual will also help create various analysis of data needed for the updating of marketing materials, assisting with the preparation of due diligence questionnaire responses, as well as assist with evaluation of side-letter arrangement and fund closing processes/liliComplete responses to investor correspondence, inquiries, and requests/liliAssisting with Fund treasury functionality and deal pipeline management/liliOther ad-hoc projects where needed/li/ulpThis position requires strong accounting and finance experience, working knowledge of the credit investment universe, sound organizational and analytical skills as well as ability to build rapport with Carlyle investors, service providers and various constituents throughout the firm. This position also requires the ability to work and communicate effectively across various levels of management and organization groups./ph3Responsibilities/h3pFinance and Operations (25% of time)/pulliWork alongside Operations to assure proper and timely execution of investments and vendor obligations/liliAssist with recognition and accrual of interest and expense booked by the TPA/liliCalculate and review performance metrics/liliPreparation of various reports provided to investors periodically (i.e. Quarterly Update Presentations)/liliAssist with subscription and asset-based credit facility provider management/liliFund modelling and expense budgeting/liliPreparation of capital activity calculations including pro forma analysis to assist the business in future decision making/liliImprove daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly processes to enhance the overall efficiency, accuracy, and functionality of the fund/li/ulpAccounting and Reporting (40% of time)/pulliDetailed review of NAVs based on data received from the TPA, which includes review of related support for all balance sheet and income statement accounts./liliCoordinate and review credit facility reporting and compliance/liliDetailed review of accrued carry/incentive calculations from the TPA/liliDetailed review of capital allocations and capital statements prepared by TPA/liliDetailed preparation and review of financial statements/liliCoordinate interim and year-end audit requests and questions/liliEnd of Period SOI reporting/liliAssist with the onboarding of an internal accounting book of record/li/ulpTransactions and fund activities management (25% of time)/pulliWork alongside different groups such as Investor Relations, Internal and External Legal Counsel, and Portfolio Management to coordinate periodic investor closes./liliManage the funds capital needs by coordinating with Portfolio Management and other stake holders./liliWork with TPA to produce and issue capital activity notices./liliReview quarterly performance data and assist in the proposal and preparation of distributions./liliOversee a team of consultants assisting in the preparation of recurring deliverables for the fund/li/ulpInvestor Requests (10% of time)/pulliInteract with investors on a periodic basis and produce a variety of ad hoc analysis/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pEducation Certificates/pulliBachelors degree, required/liliConcentration in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, preferred/liliCPA or progress towards CPA is a plus/li/ulstrongProfessional Experience/strongulli2-5 years overall relevant experience, required/liliRelated industry experience, preferred/liliBig 4 accounting firm background is a plus/liliKnowledge of the credit investment universe (including, but not limited to, CLOs, Term Loans, Revolvers)/li/ulstrongCompetencies Attributes/strongulliHighly motivated individual/liliStrong interpersonal skills a must/liliStrong organizational skills and detail oriented. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000.
