We deliver green solutions that enhance built, natural, and social environments. About the Role Mid-Level Technology Designer (Minimum 6 years of experience). This role supports project planning, design development, and QA/QC for low‑Voltage and technology systems throughout all construction phases. Responsibilities include IT/telecom infrastructure, communications cabling, MPOE, TEC/server rooms, IDF rooms, outside plant cabling, horizontal cabling, wireless networking, low‑voltage paging, emergency phones, and clocks. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design and implementation of telecommunications systems for building and campus environments. Support technical requirements analysis, site assessments, solution recommendations, and construction administration. Assist in developing design documents in alignment with client goals and project execution plans. Provide field support during bidding, construction, and installation activities, including responding to RFIs and coordination issues. Help evaluate client needs and prepare scopes of work with cost considerations. Apply knowledge of codes, ANSI standards, and industry best practices in technology design. Support QA/QC on active construction projects and coordinate with contractors and implementation teams. Collaborate on technology service initiatives and contribute to team growth. Experience & Qualifications Required Previous engineering design experience with telecommunications systems for buildings or healthcare facilities. Minimum 6 years of experience in telecommunication cabling infrastructure design or related technical roles. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Experience with healthcare projects. Familiarity with construction documents, including drawings and CSI-format specifications. Experience with low‑voltage/signal design, including conduit sizing and pulling tension. Basic working knowledge of audio‑visual and security systems. Exposure to project design management and construction‑phase support. Understanding of regulatory codes and standards for educational, healthcare, commercial, or federal facilities. Education & Certifications RCDD Certification (or progress toward certification) preferred. BS in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology preferred or equivalent technical experience related to technology infrastructure design.
