EXPEDITOR (EXPO) – FAST-PACED RESTAURANT

Do you enjoy being the key link between the kitchen and Front of House team while helping ensure every guest receives an exceptional dining experience? Parma Tavern is seeking an Expeditor (Expo) to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both kitchen and service teams, has a strong sense of urgency, and takes pride in delivering quality food and great guest experiences. At Parma Tavern, we serve Italian-inspired tavern favorites, including stone oven pizzas cooked in our 600-degree brick oven, fresh pastas with made-from-scratch sauces, house-ground burgers, and shareable small plates. What you will do Coordinate communication between the kitchen and Front of House team Ensure food is accurate, complete, and prepared according to standards Verify special requests and modifications before food leaves the kitchen Monitor ticket times and assist in maintaining efficient service flow Garnish, inspect, and present dishes before service Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards Communicate product shortages and kitchen updates to service staff Assist with to-go orders when assigned Support cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the shift Work closely with managers, cooks, servers, and bartenders to ensure a great guest experience What we are looking for Previous restaurant experience preferred Experience as an Expo, Food Runner, Server Assistant, Line Cook, or Server is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Attention to detail and commitment to quality Positive attitude and team‑player mentality Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift to 50 pounds when needed Schedule requirements Evening and weekend availability strongly preferred Holiday availability may be required Flexible scheduling based on business needs Compensation & benefits $12-$14 per hour plus tips based on experience Flexible scheduling Employee dining discounts Ongoing training and development Growth opportunities within the restaurant Promote-from-within culture Why join Parma Tavern? Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Skill in multitasking. Physically fit and agile, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate dexterity. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Well-groomed and professional appearance. Proficient in time management. Completion of product knowledge training, including written and verbal exams.
