Mortgage Loan Closer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Closer to prepare, review, and finalize residential mortgage loan closing packages while ensuring compliance with investor, regulatory, and company guidelines. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple loans simultaneously, and works collaboratively with internal teams, settlement agents, and borrowers to ensure timely and accurate closings. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review closing disclosures and loan closing packages for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate closing schedules with title companies, settlement agents, borrowers, and internal departments. Verify all loan conditions have been satisfied prior to closing. Ensure closing documents comply with federal, state, investor, and company requirements. Review title commitments, homeowner's insurance, payoffs, and other required documentation. Resolve closing discrepancies and communicate with appropriate parties to ensure timely funding. Balance loan figures and verify fees, escrow amounts, and closing costs. Ensure all documents are executed correctly and received prior to funding. Meet established service level agreements (SLAs) and daily production goals. Maintain accurate loan documentation and system updates throughout the closing process. Qualifications 2+ years of mortgage closing experience. Strong understanding of the residential mortgage closing process. Experience preparing and reviewing Closing Disclosures (CDs). Knowledge of TRID, RESPA, and other mortgage compliance regulations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize a high-volume pipeline while meeting deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with mortgage loan origination systems (LOS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Experience with conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and jumbo loan products. Familiarity with Encompass or other mortgage loan origination systems. Experience working with title companies and settlement agents. Knowledge of investor and agency guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr HNE
