As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Government Building in Dana Point, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a dynamic technology-focused location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, report security-related concerns, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time / Mix Shift Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM Tue: 01:00 PM - 09:30 PM Sat: 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM Sun: 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business location and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, documenting observations and incidents accurately. Maintain professional communication with personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a positive environment. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
