Senior Manager, Security Engineering

Leading a team of software engineers in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Manager, Security Engineering will focus on building security foundations for Workday's agent registry, overseeing design and code reviews while ensuring high standards of security engineering and product judgment. Key Responsibilities Lead, hire, and develop a team of software engineers while maintaining high standards for security engineering and design quality Shape the identification, authentication, and authorization processes for agents within the registry, leveraging Workday's security model Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent security practices across the platform and drive AI code generation initiatives Required Qualifications 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing engineering teams 3+ years of hands-on experience with security-critical systems such as authentication and authorization Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience is also acceptable Strong hands-on experience with AI code generation tools and familiarity with OAuth and access control models Experience in multi-tenant enterprise SaaS environments, with a preference for familiarity with AI agent platforms Virtual Vocations Inc
