Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift, Contract To Hire

The Quality Inspector position in the Wilmington, MA area offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality assurance activities in a dynamic environment. Shift of the Quality Inspector:
3:00PM - 11:30PM

Pay Rate of the Quality Inspector:
$25.00 - $28.00/hr

Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships across departments.
• Utilize hand measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Perform 100% inspections of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications of the Quality Inspector:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in inspection within an FDA or regulated environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with CMM operation and programming is a plus.
• 20/20 vision required, with or without corrective lenses.
