Our fresh, never frozen, products are created by culinary experts and designed to please the taste enthusiast.As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and effective production processes, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe working environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of production workers, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality cold food products to meet customer demands.Key Specific Responsibilities:Supervise Production Operations: Lead and direct a team of production workers, including line operators, machine operators, and working closely with quality control and maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.Production Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production planners to create and implement production schedules that optimize resource utilization and meet production targets.Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control measures throughout the production process to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, product specifications, and customer requirements.Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance operational efficiency, minimize waste, and maximize productivity.Training and Development: Train and develop production staff on proper operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance personnel to schedule and perform routine maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by promoting and enforcing safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control documentation, and provide regular reports on production metrics to management.Driving Accountability: Holds team members accountable for performance, attendance, and adherence to company policies by consistently addressing issues, providing clear expectations, and administering corrective or disciplinary actions when necessary to maintain a high-performing and compliant work environment.Qualifications for PositionDemonstrable leadership experienceStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control practices, and food safety regulations.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.Proficient in using computer systems and software applications relevant to production and inventory management.Travel Requirements:Overnight Travel – not requiredOvernight Travel – sporadic - requiredOvernight Travel – 20% or greater – requiredOvernight Travel – valid passport required for international travelEssential Competencies :Leadership & Team Development: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse production team, fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes with the ability to drive efficiency, manage production flow, and implement process improvements.Quality & Food Safety Focus: In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards, with a commitment to maintaining compliance and delivering high-quality products.Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to quickly identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced production environment.We offer the opportunity to develop and grow your career, and are committed to promotion from within.
