Join one of the largest and most academically active cancer physiatry groups in the country at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Our group currently consists of eight full-time physiatrists and three advanced practice providers. In addition, two cancer physiatry fellows and rotating PM&R residents from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston work alongside our faculty. The practice includes the only acute inpatient rehabilitation unit in the country within an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, inpatient consults, and a growing outpatient PM&R clinic, with opportunities for injections including joint injections, nerve blocks, and botulinum toxin chemodenervation. The Section of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation within the Department of Palliative, Rehabilitation & Integrative Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible PM&R faculty member at the Assistant Professor level. Our group is seeking an energetic and motivated physiatrist with an interest in academic and clinical excellence. Applicants must hold an MD or DO degree and have completed, or be about to complete, a PM&R residency or fellowship. The position offers a combination of clinical care, research, education, and administrative responsibilities and is structured as 80% clinical, 10% research, 5% education, and 5% administrative.
