Hiring immediately for the following shifts. We need candidates who can do these specific shifts, to fit the needs of the client:

Mondays 5 pm to 5 am PST
Thursday 1 pm to midnight PST
Friday 5 pm to 5 am
Saturday 5 am to 5 pm PST

You don't have to be able to do them all, but being able to do half of them would be great Thursdays in particular are needed now.

In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to a 24- year old client with autism who is abled bodied, but needs support with daily living and health, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your calm approach and attention to detail will help foster independence and enhance quality of life for the client. We are looking for service oriented providers who seek to give more than they take when on the job in a client's home.

These are requirements for the job not listed in the Indeed options:
Must have car you have exclusive control over
Must have clean driving record, CA driver's license, and car insurance
AA and / or high school diploma considered with relevant experience

We need to hire immediately, job starts now.
This is a good opportunity for someone who may have worked with IHSS in the past.
This is a caregiver SLS job for a female who can show up on time and maintain a regular schedule without disruptions, who is calm, patient, and knowledgeable about people on the spectrum also experiencing mental stress.
Fluent English is required for this role.
No criminal record, you will be fingerprinted and bg checked.
You have a car that you control, a valid California DL, and insurance.

Ideally you have real, verifiable experience working with disabled/neurodivergent with real, verifiable references.
Non-smoker
This job can be from 22 to 44 hours per week depending on your schedule
an availability.
You will be a employed with an SLS agency that offers paid training
and certification in CPR if you are not already certified.
Be able to commit for a minimum of 6 months.
Be dependable.

Duties

• Be a steady, attentive, and awake companion in the home for this client
• Observe client needs and safety
• Treat the home as though you are a guest and respect it
• Assist with meal preparation and clean up
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
• Support the client with friendship and understanding, you may be needed to drive the client to appointments
• Make sure to maintain communication throughout your shift without interruption

Skills

• Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior care or developmental disabilities
• Certified in CPR and First Aid (employer will supply if you don't have certification yet); experience with autism support is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans, ability to follow instructions well is a must
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team member
• Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care that promotes dignity and independence
