Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the OT
Assist residents with ADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and functional independence
Support carryover of therapy goals through caregiver and staff education
Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and physicians to support patient outcomes
Document treatment sessions accurately, timely, and in compliance with facility standards
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team communication
Qualifications
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Nebraska (or eligibility for licensure)
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehab preferred; new graduates welcome
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-centered care skills
