About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Float Pool Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Rotating (3x12-Hour) and Day Rotating (3x12-Hour) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for is required. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license is required before submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification required. Must-Have: Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and medication safety assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Traveler will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass; otherwise, cancellation may occur. Description: Looking for a registered nurse with a specialty in Med/Surg/Telemetry for a float pool position. This role involves floating to various units to care for a similar patient population. Shifts will rotate between nights and days. The facility will do its best to honor preferred shifts but may rotate as necessary to meet operational needs. Nurses are expected to adapt to changing patient care environments. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care are essential. This position will require compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient care and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
