Complies with standard practices and regulatory guidelines to assure food is high quality and prepared in a safe manner. Shriners Spokane is looking for a part time Cook to join the team!**Key Responsibilities:*** Operates all kitchen equipment correctly and trains others as needed.* Ensures that food is ready at specified times.* Ensures that patient allergies, diet orders and preferences are followed, obtains clarification from dietitian if needed.* Maintains a clean and organized kitchen and work spaces.* Complies with food safety and sanitation guidelines.* Maintains accurate records including patient meal counts, temperatures, and food amounts prepared, food leftover.* Operates cash register proficiently.**Required Qualifications:*** High School Diploma/GED* Washington State Food Workers Permit**Preferred Qualifications:*** Culinary School graduate* ServSafe Food Safety Certificate* 3 years Institutional Cooking* 1 year Food ServiceThe pay range for this position is $17.13-$23.75/hourly.Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
