Class A CDL Truck Driver

FieldBridge seeks a couple of Class A CDL Truck Drivers to work for one of the oldest and most iconic soft drink brands in the United States. This position is based in Springfield, IL. Weekly pay + benefits.

Pay / Schedule: $27.48/hr. Monday through Friday 5 AM until end of route. Great opportunity for OT. At 50 hrs per week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,705/ wk gross.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable CDL A Driver to deliver products to small and large retailers on a set local route in the area. In this role, you will manually unload your truck using a hand dolly, build strong rapport with customers, and stock shelves and coolers as requested. This is a touch freight position with 8 to 10 stops per day, ideal for a professional driver who takes pride in customer service and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to small and large retail customers on an established local route with 8 to 10 stops per day
• Manually unload freight from the truck using a hand dolly at each stop
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers on the route
• Stock shelves and coolers as requested by the customer
• Maintain all required DOT documentation and comply with all federal and state transportation regulations

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A required
• Ability to maintain a valid DOT Driver Qualification File
• Touch freight experience required
• Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly
• Clean driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
