IT Security Consultant

Link Technologies is currently seeking a IT Security Sales Professional for a full-time position with a high-profile company in Denver, Colorado. This position is responsible for introducing, proposing and selling IT security solutions and related products and services from Link Technologies. This position may also be responsible for on‑going management of accounts after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires attainment of a monthly sales quota. Responsibilities Contact government and commercial businesses within the service territory to perform security needs analysis and provide a detailed network and hardware solution to these clients. Responsible for the initial configuration of all products and services, which will require written proposals or product demonstrations. Prepare all necessary contract documentation and accurately complete the sales hand‑off package. Interface with internal management to ensure client satisfaction with services provided. Serve as the key representative and promoter for this line of business. Assist in identifying and expanding possible product lines related to security sales. Make recommendations on products, process, pricing, and marketing offered by Link Technologies. Stay current with changes and developments in the IT security industry, gathering competitive information and maintaining market awareness to share internally. Continue learning best sales practices and professionalism to improve sales aptitude and skills. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to fulfill job function or as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of: Company policies and procedures. Current and emerging products and services and their value propositions. General office practices and procedures. Time management and organizational skills. Security marketing and sales practices and principles. Skill to: Write original material, edit, proofread, and finalize written material. Gather and report numerical data and produce statistical reports. Ability to: Work independently and within a team. Sell security products and services effectively and creatively. Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota objectives/goals. Build relationships and network effectively to promote sales. Think analytically and be a problem solver. Communicate effectively, both in writing and in speaking, with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Work completely and accurately under time constraints and deadlines. Read, analyze, and interpret reports. Maintain confidentiality of company records when required.
