Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy

Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy – PRN Experienced Registered Nurses are invited to join the Endoscopy Unit at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. In this PRN role, you will provide safe, efficient and compassionate care in a dynamic, two‑suite endoscopy environment. About Our Team The unit is staffed by two experienced gastroenterologists and performs an average of 15 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per day, focusing on patient safety and quality care. How You’ll Contribute Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care. Documents patient care. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assists patients with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire. Education: Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
