SVP Wealth Management
The SVP of Wealth Management is responsible for leading the strategic direction, development and management of the Wealth Management Department. This role will drive growth and profitability while coordinating investment and administrative functions. The Director will drive attainment of key performance targets including revenue, expense management, new client growth, product and service enhancements.
In select markets, the Director will also be responsible for the efficient delivery of operational wealth management services to affiliate and outsourced banks.
Essential functions include driving and evolving the strategic direction of the wealth management team, partnering across the organization to develop and implement scalable and efficient strategies, developing and fostering a climate of client and relationship focus, building strategic internal and external relationships to drive growth, driving day-to-day local operations, collaborating with marketing to develop client materials, promotional activities and sales strategies, proactively managing risk, audit and compliance issues, participating in the Wealth Management Board Committee, reporting updates to the wealth management committee and company stakeholders, leading the executive trust and wealth management committees, hiring, developing, motivating and training staff, evaluating performance, establishing clear expectations and holding team members accountable, understanding and administering compensation, participating in community engagement events, complying with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements, and fostering and preserving a culture of inclusion.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other related field or equivalent experience, ten years' experience in investment management, trust management, or financial planning, significant experience in business development and client relationship management activities, five years' leadership and management experience, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, ability to analyze complex financial information and organize data in an easy-to-understand manner, and experience with strategic planning and product positioning.
Working conditions include duties performed in a professional office environment and occasional travel required.
Salary and benefits include a minimum salary range of $160,000 annually, health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, FSA, HSA, 401K, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, paid holidays, and additional voluntary supplemental insurance.
