Bartender Position

As a Bartender, you play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by preparing high-quality cocktails and beverages with accuracy, efficiency, and care. You'll work in a fast-paced environment while consistently following established recipes and service standards. Beyond the bar, you contribute to each guest's overall dining experience through attentive, gracious service and by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace that reflects the excellence Ray's on the River is known for.

Set against the backdrop of the Chattahoochee River, we are committed to delivering excellence on every plate and in every guest interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with professionalism and warmth, creating an inviting bar and lounge experience.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and menu items, offering thoughtful recommendations.
• Accurately take and prepare food and beverage orders, ensuring timely and consistent delivery
• Verify guest identification and responsibly serve alcohol in accordance with state laws and company policies
• Use suggestive selling techniques in a natural, hospitality-driven way to enhance the guest experience
• Build genuine, professional rapport with guests while maintaining a polished presence behind the bar
• Ensure alcohol is consumed only in approved areas and monitor guest consumption responsibly
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar
• Work collaboratively with service and culinary teams to support smooth, seamless service
• Participate in ongoing training, review shift notes, attend meetings, and consistently uphold company standards and policies

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a dynamic restaurant schedule.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs., bend, climb, and reach overhead.
• Strong communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in service, mixology and order taking.
