A growing manufacturer in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to serve as a key link between Product Development, Engineering, Industrial Design, and Manufacturing. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role focused on transforming product concepts into efficient, repeatable manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for a Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of design and production. Whether you have several years of experience or are earlier in your engineering career, success in this position comes from being adaptable, collaborative, hands-on, and capable of turning ideas into manufacturable products.

Act as the bridge between Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams

Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products

Support product launches from concept through production

Participate in prototype development, testing, and manufacturing trials

Troubleshoot production and process-related issues

Translate product designs into manufacturable, scalable solutions

Partner with domestic and international manufacturing teams to support production needs

Drive continuous improvements in quality, efficiency, and manufacturability

Manufacturing Engineering experience

Understanding of product development and manufacturing processes

Strong technical problem-solving abilities

Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and disciplines

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Comfortable in both office and manufacturing environments

Occasional travel to manufacturing facilities as needed

Travel is project-driven and not expected to be extensive

Experience with soft goods manufacturing, including upholstery, fabrics, vinyl, leather, or related materials preferred

Product development or new product introduction experience preferred

Prototype, testing, or development lab experience is a plus

Experience supporting production facilities and manufacturing operations preferred

Background in seating, furniture, automotive interiors, recreational products, or similar industries is a plus

High-visibility role with significant cross-functional exposure
