The firm prides itself on providing a great work-life balance, fantastic benefits, and a clear path to partnership.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct technical review and approval of tax returns and handle complex tax audits.Act as a subject matter expert in specific industries or disciplines.Take charge of large tax returns and delegate tasks as needed.Manage client relationships directly or through delegated responsibilities.Oversee and delegate governmental tax examinations and represent clients when necessary.Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff to ensure a skilled team.Ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of all tax returns.Manage billing processes and prepare reports as requested by partners.Research and recommend tax preparation software to partners.Participate in firm practice development activities and foster client relationships.QualificationsDemonstrated expertise in current tax laws.Proficiency in tax preparation, research, and planning software.Ability to work overtime, especially during tax season.Seven to ten years of experience in public accounting with increasing tax complexity.Experience representing clients before taxing authorities.Prior supervisory experience in a tax preparation role.Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master's in taxation is a plus.CPA license and AICPA membership required.Commitment to ongoing professional development with minimum annual continuing education hours.
