We are a foundry OEM here in Avon Lake OH and are seeking an experienced design engineer with SolidWorks experience to join our team. The engineer must be a self-starter and willing to assist with the creation of drawings, project management, and implementation. Previous experience with sand systems, molding machines, and bulk transport conveyors is a plus. Knowledge of tolerances and a good understanding of GD&T is a plus. A positive attitude with the ability to work with others as a part of a team is a must. Ideal candidate will have both hands-on Solid-works experience as well as strong computer skills to include project, excel, and office. Project based prioritization and ability to multi-task is essential.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE -
Solid works Experience is essential Working knowledge of Bills of Materials/parts lists Ability to travel locally on occasion and possibly nationally as needed. Technical education in CAD design preferred Working knowledge of gears and motors a plus
