Pharmacy Technician

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Address: San Antonio, TX Job Responsibilities Manage inventory and prepare medications for final check by a pharmacist. Deliver medications to patient areas and conduct medication area inspections. Provide technical assistance and perform clerical duties. Guide others as needed and work under limited supervision with initiative and judgment. Ensure adherence to professional, legal, and ethical standards, as well as applicable laws and policies. Requirements Must comply with all HHSC, hospital, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy policies. Negative PPD within last 12 months and successful passing of drug screen and background check required. Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work preferred. Experience with Pyxis MedStation system, medication room inspections, and manual/automated repackaging preferred. Education / Licensure Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Work Schedule Shifts are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:30pm. No 12-hour shifts. Availability for 9 consecutive days of training, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, is required. Work environment is on-site; remote work is not available.
