Test & Automation Analyst

Salary: $40,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in a relevant technical field and at least 4 years of related experience, or an associates degree and at least 6 years of related experience
• An active Secret security clearance
• At least one certification in the area of specialization
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex software issues clearly and concisely
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles and experience in sprint-based development
• Familiarity with and active use of Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail when creating, reviewing, and editing requirements, specifications, and recommendations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, cross-functional teams, customers, and end-users
• Contract-writing knowledge is a plus; Jira experience is desired
• SCRUM, Leading SAFe, T&E, automation, or AI in T&E certifications are valuable

• Analyze and validate user stories, technical specifications, and functional requirements to establish comprehensive test coverage
• Design, document, and execute test cases and scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams to reproduce issues and conduct root-cause analysis when needed
• Coordinate with teammates, SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management on quality goals and project deliverables
• Create, execute, and maintain functional tests to verify application features against requirements and acceptance criteria
• Help develop, maintain, and run automated test scripts to expand coverage and reduce manual testing
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, sharing testing status and quality metrics

You will work with SCRUM teams, developers, and program management to support software quality and automation testing on a mission-critical national defense initiative.
