BI/Data Analyst

Job Title Responsibilities/Day to Day Expertly use analytical tools to provide insight and make recommendations Interact with various stakeholders to understand their business needs, communicate project status and develop relationships to ensure satisfaction Provide ad-hoc analysis to address specific business questions from stakeholder groups Perform code reviews with other developers Collaborate with other members of the team Top Skills Experience handling large datasets In-depth/expert skills with SQL and database query tools In-depth ability to analyze, interpret, and present data Tableau (other BI tools ok, but not the preference) Requirements definition and refinement Experience producing insights on poorly defined topics Comfortable balancing independent ownership and working with support teams Nice to have AWS experience (S3/ EMR/Lambda) Hive/Hadoop or experience working with big data platforms Spark Data Science Python or Bash scripting Linux Git Project Management Manage priorities and delivery across many workstreams Bachelor's degree+ in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or related field Required Skills : • MUST BE LOCAL TO DENVER, CO OR WILLING TO RELOCATE TO DENVER WITHIN 1 MONTH • Very Strong HQL (ideal) or SQL(Be able to write complex queries from scratch) • Tableau experience preferred, some visualization required (Power BI, SSRS, etc.) • Strong analysis skills: basic statistics and critical thinking/problem solving • Strong communication and collaboration Software Technology Inc
