About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights, Every Other Weekend Hours per Shift: 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Required certifications include BLS and NIHSS. Description: The position requires working in a medical surgical unit with a maximum patient ratio of 1:6. During dayshift from Monday to Friday, the ratio is 1:5. This role requires floating to a PCU for a medical surgical assignment unless telemetry trained. Every other weekend commitment is necessary. Additionally, up to 2 extra mandatory shifts may be required within a 6-week period. Holiday requirements are applicable, and only one holiday can be requested off during the contract. The unit has 23 beds. The facility operates on a trauma level 3. Charting is completed using the EPIC system. Candidates must have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality care to patients.
