Collections Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Collections Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, collect outstanding balances, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain positive customer relationships while protecting company assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with experience in commercial collections.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• 2+ years experience in a similar position.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet collection goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in commercial collections.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally while maintaining customer relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment

The position requires on-site work from Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour workday and a half-hour to one-hour lunch break.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrington, DE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
