Customer Service Representative

Location: Shelton, CT

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (some flexibility available)

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour , based on experience

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support a portfolio of customer accounts while ensuring accurate order processing and exceptional service from order placement through delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, warehouse, and production teams.

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 40-60 customer accounts.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
• Respond to inquiries regarding orders, pricing, product availability, and shipment status.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and Supply Chain to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory allocation to support customer demand.
• Maintain accurate customer and order information within the ERP system.
• Resolve order issues proactively while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.

• 1-2 years of customer service, customer account management, order management, or order entry experience.
• Manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, industrial, or retail order management experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Outlook.
• Experience working within an ERP system; Epicor experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
