Employees may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.Job Responsibilities and ExecutionSecures premises by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment and inspecting buildings and access pointsUpholds university’s standards and reputation by complying with legal requirements of the Clery ActMaintains up-to-date knowledge of the university’s Emergency Action PlanEnforces campus parking regulationsCompletes incident/accident reports for missing or stolen property and criminal activity; assures accurate reports, including detailed, complete observations and informationConducts surveillanceInterviews witnesses and obtains signaturesService ExcellenceSupports the university mission and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellenceModels, supports and holds others accountable to the university’s values – integrity, dedication, excellence, creativity and teamworkAccompanies visitors, students and employees on campus upon requestProvides public assistance, including lockout services, first aid, vehicle jump‐starts and traffic directionCommunication, Teamwork and CollaborationPrevents loss and damage via consistent reporting of concernsEducates violators on proper policies and proceduresJob may require other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
