Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a long-term care setting. This position offers an opportunity to grow in a supportive environment while providing essential care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient health and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Assist in the implementation of patient care plans.
• Support residents with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Point Click Care (PCC).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care.
• Participate in resident assessments and individualized care planning.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care (LTC).
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Shift Details

• Shifts typically run from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
• Travelers must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Orientation scheduling occurs every two weeks on Mondays.

Work Environment

This position is located in a long-term care facility characterized by an average census of 95 residents with staffing ratios of 1:12 for CNAs, and 1:18 for both LPNs and RNs.

Location

The role is based in a scenic area with various activities available including waterfront attractions, shopping malls, hiking, skiing, and swimming.
