Internist Position

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full time Internist in the Department of Ambulatory Care to join as faculty.

We are seeking a highly motivated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care
• Teaching and supervision of medical residents and students

Qualifications

• MD degree
• Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine
• Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number

We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. We also offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package including CME. Compensation ranges from 236K to 241K plus faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
