Technical Product Owner

Salary: $163,900 - 180,290 per year Requirements:

• We seek a candidate with a bachelors or masters degree, or equivalent professional experience, in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• We require extensive experience in enterprise performance management, Finance transformation, or global finance systems product ownership.
• We value strong knowledge of consolidation, financial close, planning, forecasting, reporting, and related governance and control requirements.
• We require demonstrated experience managing product demand, requirements, backlogs, acceptance criteria, testing, releases, and major change delivery.
• We value experience leading cross-functional governance, global roadmap prioritization, and collaboration across Finance, IT, Data, and external partners.
• We seek strong executive communication, negotiation, facilitation, analytical thinking, and structured decision-making skills.
• We prefer direct OneStream implementation, rollout, or product ownership experience, as well as familiarity with OneStream data structures, metadata, reporting, integrations, security, and application controls.
• We also value experience developing finance systems operating models, tiered support structures, and global templates, and experience with audit evidence, release and vendor governance, change management, and platform lifecycle planning.

• We expect the role to manage the OneStream applications functional and technical direction and align its strategy and roadmap with business owners.
• The role owns the end-to-end functional backlog, balances business value, risk, regulatory needs, operational urgency, and strategic alignment, and coordinates global demand and governance across Finance functions and teams.
• The role gathers and translates business needs into requirements, priorities, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, release scope, and functional specifications for developers and partners.
• The role validates change requests, protects the global template, governs design exceptions, approves material designs and cross-process changes, and confirms business readiness for major deployments.
• The role coordinates functional and user acceptance testing, business sign-off, release readiness, communications, training, and adoption.
• The role serves as the primary functional decision owner for OneStream processes, reporting, enhancements, and operational priorities.
• The role defines operating-model and collaboration expectations across Data, Infrastructure, Integration, and Development, and oversees architecture, integration, security, access, environments, performance, resilience, and platform lifecycle.
• The role manages incidents through Level 3 and ensures SOX requirements and ITGC controls are met, with appropriate documentation, approvals, testing evidence, segregation of duties, and decision traceability.
• The role manages strategic vendor and system-integrator relationships, tracks platform health, delivery, adoption, stakeholder satisfaction, and value realization, and drives continuous improvement.
• The role sets global functional strategy, standards, and roadmap; recommends funding priorities; prioritizes the backlog; accepts or rejects requirements and completed changes; authorizes functional deployments when controls and approvals are complete; and escalates unresolved decisions to Finance and IT leadership.
• We measure success through a clear value-based roadmap and backlog, controlled and well-documented releases, consistent global governance, predictable delivery, strong platform health and risk management, improved adoption, and demonstrable business value through reuse, simplification, and process consistency.
