Cultivation Technician

JOB SUMMARY

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for maintaining the health and vitality of cannabis plants during the Flowering and Harvest stages. This hands-on role supports optimal plant development through monitoring plant health, implementing canopy management techniques, and executing harvest procedures in line with company protocols and compliance standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Plant Health Maintenance: Monitor cannabis plants during the flowering stage to support optimal bud development, plant vitality, and overall crop quality. Canopy Management: Perform defoliation, pruning, trellising, and staking to optimize light penetration, airflow, and bud quality throughout flowering. Harvest Execution: Assist with timely and efficient harvesting of mature plants, following SOPs to preserve product quality and consistency.

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and report signs of plant stress, nutrient deficiencies, pests, or diseases to the Cultivation Lead or IPM team. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of flowering rooms, tools, and equipment to prevent contamination. Follow all company policies and ensure compliance with local and state cannabis cultivation regulations. Collaborate with team members and adhere to safety, sanitation, and operational procedures. Support IPM activities as needed according to SOPs.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be 21 years or older and pass a background check. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Registered Agent Card. Comfortable working in environments with high humidity, strong plant odors, and fluctuating temperatures. Willing to wear PPE and follow sanitation and safety standards.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

Strong attention to detail and patience. Ability to troubleshoot. Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments within cultivation and operations.
