Moving Coordinator

Westfield Washington Schools is seeking a dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented individual to serve as a full-time Moving Coordinator within the Facilities Department. The Moving Coordinator supports the daily operations of the school district by coordinating and completing moves and deliveries, distributing interoffice mail and materials, assisting with snow and ice removal, providing traffic control support, and performing other operational duties as needed. This position works throughout the district and requires an individual who is flexible, organized, able to work independently, and willing to assist wherever needed to support safe and efficient school operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
Ability to perform physical work for extended periods, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, climbing, and working outdoors.
Ability and willingness to work in varying weather conditions, including cold, snow, rain, and heat.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff, contractors, students, and the public.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of the Facilities team.
Willingness to learn new equipment, procedures, and responsibilities.

Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional work outside normal operating hours. Early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday work may be required for snow removal, emergencies, major moves, or special events. Participation in department on-call or emergency response responsibilities may be required.

Compensation: $19.10 - $21.51 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Full-time position with benefits available in accordance with Westfield Washington Schools policies.
