Senior Project Architect / Senior Project Designer

Hutteball + Oremus Architecture is seeking a senior project architect or project designer with a minimum of 15 years’ experience to join our office in Kirkland, WA. Hutteball + Oremus Architecture specializes in K-12 architecture and is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our collaborative studio environment. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals committed to the creation of meaningful architecture.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

15+ years full time experience in an architectural office. Arch (or equivalent) accredited degree. Lead a multi-disciplinary team to generate thoughtful solutions to architectural problems and prepare design and construction documents. Manage a project through all phases from Feasibility through Construction Administration. Facilitate user and owner meetings to identify needs and set and manage project goals. K-12 Educational Design Experience required. Revit and AutoCAD proficiency required.

OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Comfortable communicating with clients/consultants. Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment. Desire to mentor coworkers and willingness to learn.
